This policy explains what information Upgrow Connect collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Upgrow Connect is a product of Upgrow, operated by Upgrow Academy LLP, Manalvayal, Kariyambadi Post, Wayanad District, Kerala 673591, India ("we", "us").

Who this policy covers

It covers businesses that sign up for Upgrow Connect ("customers"), the people they add as team members, and visitors to this website.

Our customers use Upgrow Connect to send and receive WhatsApp messages with their own contacts. For those contacts' data, the customer decides what is collected and why, and we process it on the customer's behalf and on their instructions. If you are a contact of one of our customers, please contact that business first about your data.

Information we collect

Account details: name, business name, email address, phone number, password (stored in hashed form) and GSTIN if you give it.
WhatsApp data: connected WhatsApp Business numbers, message templates, and the messages, media and contact details exchanged through your numbers.
Ad data: for chats that start from Click-to-WhatsApp ads, the ad ID, headline and ad text that Meta sends. If you connect your Facebook ad account, we also read campaign, ad set and ad names. This access is read-only.
Billing data: plan, invoices and payment status. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not store your card or bank details.
Usage data: sign-in times, device and browser information, IP address and logs needed to run and secure the service.

How we use it

To provide the service: show chats in your inbox, send your messages and broadcasts, run auto-replies and chat flows, and send leads to the integrations you switch on.
To bill you and issue GST invoices.
To give support, send service emails (such as plan expiry reminders) and keep the service secure.
To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your data or your contacts' data, and we do not use your contacts' messages to advertise to them.

Meta Platforms, to send and receive WhatsApp messages through the official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API). Meta's own terms and privacy policy apply to that processing.
Tools you connect, such as Upgrow SalesFlow, Google Sheets, webhooks, Zapier, Make or Pabbly. Data goes to them only when you switch on the integration.
Service providers that help us run the service, such as hosting, email delivery and Razorpay for payments.
Authorities, when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. Files from chats are kept up to your plan's storage limit; when it is full, the oldest files are deleted. When you delete a number or your account, we delete the related chats, files and broadcasts, except records we must keep by law, such as invoices.

Security

Access tokens for WhatsApp and Facebook are stored encrypted, data travels over HTTPS, and each business can see only its own data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and tell us at once if you suspect misuse.

Data deletion

You can see and correct most of your data inside your account. You can disconnect and delete a WhatsApp number from the Numbers page, which removes its chats, files and broadcasts.

To delete your whole account, or to ask for a copy of your data, email info@upgrowconnect.com from your account email with the subject "Data deletion request". We will confirm and complete the request within 30 days.

If you signed in or connected through Facebook and want that data removed, follow the same steps. You can also remove Upgrow Connect from your Facebook settings under Business Integrations.

Cookies

We use cookies needed to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure. This website does not use advertising cookies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If the changes are significant, we will tell customers by email or in the app before they take effect.
